Friends to thy ends

Sooo.... I have been here for well over a month now, and I have painfully noticed that majority of my friends are MIA. I don't know why it hurts so bad, but all of this is getting to the point where I think I am going numb. I am afraid to let it all in or it might consume me. The distance, the fear, the loneliness, no one knows me at all here. No familiarity.
I am just me... and I hate it...
